Choose Your Adventure

Hey friends!

This March we’re exploring accompliceship and healthy anger with our kids.

You know, the usual March routine. Women’s history, calling in Irish Americans for St. Paddy’s – and the traditional spring dance where we pack away the kids’ winter gear, dig it out for freak blizzards, repeat 3x, and then it’s August somehow.

No one expects you to dedicate every minute of March to ALL OF THESE. But maybe pick a topic below and run with it.

With you,

Ashia R.

STEP 4: ASSESS YOUR CAPACITY

Step Into Your Power: Take Action

Whether it's time, money, or our voice - we all have something to contribute.

If you have $15

End incarceration for women & girls

Led & founded by women separated from their children through incarceration, The National Council for Incarcerated Women and Girls is an abolitionist organization creating alternatives to prison in supporting thriving communities.

If you have 1 minute

Protect Reproductive Rights

Over 20 states have banned or restricted abortion since the fall of Roe v. Wade.

Tell Congress to pass the Womens Health Protection Act (H.R. 12/ S. 701), preventing states from forcing doctors to spread misinformation and protecting the right to abortion.

Revved up and ready for more?

I live with my family in a rural white community and realized that I needed to work harder to introduce diversity into my children's experience (ages 8 and 3).

I am interested in all areas of diversity and really want my kids to grow up with awareness and the courage to stand up for the rights of others.

I am in my own journey of self education and am working towards finding valued actions, steps that can help create change.

I am a quiet, introverted person so action has been an area that I conveniently set to the side, time and time again.

Becoming a patron is part of an action step. I wanted to support the work that you do to vet the books and information I give to my family. I also plan to work with my local school district to increase diversity in the schools and libraries.

Thank you again for your sweat and tears. You are amazing.
